Horst-Hans Bäcker: Symphony No. 1
I'm happy and proud to announce that the work on my symphony, which I began on November 18, 2024, was completed two days ago. The five-movement symphony is dedicated in gratitude to Ms. Milagros Ong-How. The musical themes are translations of the letters of the name of the dedicatee into notation. In one movement I included Martin Luther's Choral: A Mighty Fortress Is Our God. This Symphony no. 1 is part of the Cicle: In the New World.
