"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" was written in 1943 by Hugh Martin and Ralph Blaine for the classic Christmas film "Meet Me in St. Louis" starring Judy Garland.
Since Judy Garland's original recording there have been many cover versions of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" including Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Michael Buble and Sam Smith, whose 2014 version this recording is based on.
