Inspired by the thought that my song would be heard in more than 70 countries around the world to welcome the new millennium on BBC's 2000 TODAY, I took composing the melody for Agnes Caballa's WRITTEN IN THE SAND to heart. With REGINE VELASQUEZ tapped to perform the song, I couldn't even conceive how monumental that was. BBC's 2000 TODAY was viewed by 800 million people. Billy Crawford, fresh from his success in Europe, sang the Reprise with Regine Velasquez.
